The brief

Talented artist and illustrator Anthony Burrill approached us to update his portfolio site, making it easier to update, easier to use, and a better shop window for his highly collectible work.

The end result

As fans of Anthony’s work ourselves, we were keen to show his impressive portfolio in the best possible light. The ultra minimal aesthetic focuses attention on his work and makes exploring the pleasingly simple yet vast site effortless. We also created a hugely successful shop for the site that’s as easy to purchase through as it is for Anthony to manage.

Our approach

To begin with, we spent a lot of time with Anthony, considering his previous site, reviewing other portfolio sites, and refining our ideas together about look, feel, and function. Working closely with Anthony, we then collaborated on a site that really showcases his work, and created a shop that’s simple and intuitive to use.
