The brief
The Design Solution approached Everywhere to create their first portfolio site to display their impressive design and architecture. Established in 1984, The Design Solution is a group of architects and designers specialising in airport interiors around the globe, amassing an immense catalogue of work. The task for Everywhere was presenting this simply and gracefully, with a content management system that would make growing and managing the site effortless.
Our approach
We set out to develop a thorough understanding of The Design Solution’s processes and philosophy, to help us create a site that could grow and adapt with them. Together, we spent time considering competitors’ sites, and refining The Design Solution’s vision into a useable and elegant online experience. With so much content to work with, it was crucial to make it as simple as possible to explore.
The end result
With equal emphasis on aesthetics and logistics, Everywhere created a highly flexible Flash site to accommodate the different kinds of work and content on show. Every aspect of the site is built to serve The Design Solution’s specific needs, like deep-linking, which allows direct access to a particular case study. The whole site is easy to update and manage, and is built to grow with their ever-expanding body of work.
